How we handle your personal data, in plain English.
Who we are

What we collect
- Quote enquiries: reg plate, postcode, name, phone number, optional photos. Required to give you a quote.
- Vehicle disposal: V5C details, address, ID. Required for DVLA and disposal paperwork.
- Site analytics: we may use cookieless analytics (Plausible) showing aggregate page-view counts. No personal identifiers.
How we use it
- To quote and collect your car.
- To handle DVLA and disposal paperwork.
- To meet waste-transfer and record-keeping obligations.
- To pay you (BACS uses bank-account details you provide once on collection).
How long we keep it
Quote enquiries that don't proceed: 30 days, then deleted. Completed disposals: retained for accounting and disposal-record purposes, then deleted. Bank details are deleted within 7 days of payment.
Who we share it with
- DVLA / authorised disposal route, where required for vehicle paperwork.
- Resend (transactional email host).
- No-one else. We don't sell leads, ever.
Your rights under UK GDPR
- Right of access, ask us what we hold.
- Right to rectification, correct anything wrong.
- Right to erasure, delete after retention requirements expire.
- Right to data portability, get it in a portable format.
- Right to lodge a complaint with the ICO at ico.org.uk.
