Accessibility statement
We're committed to making this site usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, voice control, or have low-vision / contrast needs.
Conformance level
This site aims to conform to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. We test to that standard quarterly using axe-core, manual screen-reader passes (NVDA on Windows, VoiceOver on macOS), and keyboard-only navigation.
What we do
- Every page passes Lighthouse Accessibility 95+ on mobile.
- All colour combinations meet WCAG AA contrast ratios (4.5:1 body, 3:1 large text).
- Every interactive element has a visible focus indicator (rust 2px outline).
- Touch targets are 44×44 px minimum across the site.
- Skip-to-content link is the first focusable element on every page.
- Forms announce errors via
role="alert"+aria-live. - We respect
prefers-reduced-motion, animations disable for users who request that. - We respect
prefers-contrast: moreand Windows forced-colors mode. - All images have descriptive alt text (or empty alt for decoration).
- Headings follow logical h1 → h2 → h3 order without skipping levels.
Known issues
The Google Maps embed on the contact page comes from Google and we don't fully control its accessibility. The address text directly above the map is the canonical way to find us.
