Same-day bank transfer is the normal route, usually in your account before the truck pulls away. Payment terms are clear before pickup, and we talk you through the DVLA paperwork.

How much will I get for my scrap car in Scotland?
Typical 2026 ranges: small hatchback £150–£300, mid saloon £200–£400, 4×4 or estate £300–£600. EVs are valued separately. Send the reg or photos and we'll quote back the same day.
Do I need a V5C (logbook) to scrap my car?
Preferred, but not always required. With a V5C we talk you through the DVLA notification. Without one, photo ID and proof you are the keeper usually helps.
Bank transfer on the day?
Most customers choose same-day BACS because it leaves a clear payment record. Any cash option must be legally allowed and agreed before pickup. We never pay by cheque.
Is collection really free?
Free across Glasgow, Edinburgh, Lanarkshire, Falkirk, Stirling and most of the Central Belt. Further out, we quote any fuel contribution before setting off.
What happens to my car after you take it?
It goes through the legal end-of-life vehicle route. Hazardous parts are dealt with properly, reusable parts are pulled where possible, and DVLA paperwork is explained before collection.
